Accounting Technician - Sheriff - County of Charleston South Carolina : Job Details

This responsible position administers operating and capital budgets, applies proper accounting procedures, maintains fiscal records, prepares requisitions and claims, prepares and processes correspondence, and processes the payroll. HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $25.40 - $28.61 APPLICATION DEADLINE: SUNDAY, AUGUST 24, 2025. Minimum Qualifications REQUIREMENTS: Associates Degree from an accredited institution in Accounting or Bookkeeping, and 2 years or more of experience in Accounting Operations; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the work. Must be over 18 years of age. Candidate must be a U.S. citizen; possess a current valid SC drivers license or be able to obtain one prior to hire; No felony convictions.
