Position is under limited supervision and is responsible for the accuracy and timely finance functions required to ensure the proper payments and disbursements of court ordered fees and fines. Incumbent will be free to utilize and exercise authority in the absence of supervision or standard operating policies and procedures. Substantial independent judgment is required. Position is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices and bills for payment for the Department.

ResponsibilitiesAssociate degree in Accounting Principles, or a related field with excellent attention to detail. One (1) year of experience may be substituted for each year of required education. Must have knowledge of spreadsheets, financial analysis software and understanding of bookkeeping principles. Customer service oriented with strong organizational skills. Must possess the ability to multi-task effectively in order to prioritize tasks. Must be able to communicate effectively.
Preferred Job Requirements and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting Principles, or a related field with excellent attention to detail.
