Reports To: Director of Accounting and FinanceLocation: Remote (Candidates must live in CO, IL, MD, or VA)Compensation: $85,000–$100,000 Annual Salary + Benefits

About the Role

The Accounting Supervisor will play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic financial initiatives. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in public accounting, private equity-backed companies, and a passion for the behavioral healthcare industry

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee month-end close processes and financial reporting.
  • Manage the accounting and accounts payable teams.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements specific to healthcare and private equity-backed businesses.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting.
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Utilize ERP systems for accurate and efficient financial tracking.
Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA track or certification.
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting/private equity-backed or healthcare environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
