Accounting Specialist - Dubin Research & Consulting : Job Details

Dubin Research & Consulting (DRC) is the nations leading trial consulting firm headquartered in New York City. The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day accounting functions including data entry, invoice processing, and payroll. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to integrate seamlessly into a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must be capable of taking direction and working in a tight-knit team, while also demonstrating the ability to work independently on assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice preparation, payment processing, and collections follow-up.
• Assist with bank reconciliations, payroll support, and expense reimbursements to ensure accurate and timely financial operations.
• Maintain organized financial records and support the Finance team with reporting and audit preparation as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in accounting or finance
• 2+ years of relevant experience is required, with a preference for experience in a law firm or other professional services firm environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft365 platform and programs, and advanced proficiency with Excel.
• Experience interacting with private equity investors is preferred.

Compensation: $60,000-$65,000 plus bonus.

The indicated salary range for this position reflects the base pay, which is determined by experience and does not include overtime compensation. DRC provides compensation for overtime in alignment with state regulations.
