About the Role

As Accounting Manager, you'll be a key player in ensuring the financial health of Oceans Edge Resort. You'll work closely with the Director of Finance and General Manager, managing day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accuracy and compliance, and contributing to strategic planningall while being an integral part of our resort's continued success.

What You'll Do

Lead and manage Accounts Payable operations

Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and reports

Collaborate with the Director of Finance on budgeting and forecasting

Support bank reconciliations and billing processes

Ensure compliance with all legal and accounting standards

Identify and resolve discrepancies and accounting issues

Create and implement internal financial controls and policies

Partner with cross-functional resort teams to provide financial guidance

Provide direct support to the Director of Finance and General Manager on special projects

What We're Looking For

Currently local to Key West or willing to commute nearby (required)

Solid understanding of hotel/resort accounting principles

Strong analytical skills for investigating and resolving discrepancies

Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills

High level of integrity and discretion with sensitive information

Energetic, proactive, and adaptable in a dynamic resort setting

Qualifications

Prior hotel accounting experience, with strong focus on Accounts Payable

Associate's degree (A.A.) in accounting or related field preferred

Proficiency in English (spoken and written)

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit for extended periods working on a computer

Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 lbs
