Accounting Manager - The Wilner Group : Job Details

26th September, 2025 The Wilner Group has partnered with a Company that specializes in Cloud, Network infrastructure, Security and Collaboration in search of an Accounting Manager to join their team. In this role you will be a hands-on accounting professional responsible for managing general ledger activities, supporting the monthly close and reporting processes, and maintaining accurate financial records. This is a full-time, on-site position at their Sparta, NJ location. Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
• Manage month-end/year-end closing, consolidations, and reporting under US GAAP.
• Oversee audits, internal controls, and compliance (including FCCR, tax filings, and insurance renewals).
• Review and approve treasury activities including ACH, wires, and cash flow forecasting.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on revenue, expenses, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Ensure ERP (Sage) data integrity, drive process improvements, and support system enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in a value-added reseller, systems integrator, or services-based business preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Sage, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations).
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including revenue recognition and accruals.
• Experience in multi-entity and intercompany accounting.
