Our client, a reputable Manufacturing/HVAC company based in Livermore, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. This role is fully onsite and plays a critical part in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement in accounting processes.

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting team, including A/P, A/R, payroll, and general ledger.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with GAAP.

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.

• Maintain accurate job costing and financial forecasting for HVAC projects.

• Collaborate with external auditors and manage audit preparation.

• Implement and enforce internal controls and accounting policies.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

• Industry experience in HVAC is required.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks is mandatory.

• Strong understanding of job costing, budgeting, and financial reporting.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on, and fully onsite work environment.
