• Handle bookkeeping and accounting functions for assigned retail entities
• Prepare and reconcile monthly OEM financial statements
• Ensure accuracy of financial data by recording, verifying, and consolidating transactions
• Manage and reconcile general ledger and subsidiary accounts
• Prepare asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries based on thorough account analysis
• Lead the month-end and year-end close process
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, flag discrepancies, and suggest cost-saving improvements
• Generate accurate financial reports and present findings
• Recommend updates to accounting systems and procedures
• Provide guidance on automotive accounting best practices
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Collaborate with leadership to improve financial operations and reporting
• Support goal-setting, process documentation, and policy development

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, Accounting Supervisor, or Accounting Manager
• Strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting
• Automotive industry experience required
• Proficiency with general ledger systems; experience with Reynolds or CDK is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CMA or CPA certification is a plus
