About the Role:

We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our growing team in Denton, Texas. What You'll Do:

• Lead the accounting operations team. Set clear goals and expectations. Monitor team performance and foster a positive team culture.
• Provide ongoing training and development to ensure the team has the skills and knowledge to succeed. Identify and nurture talent.
• Own and document key processes. Implement improvements and efficiencies. Monitor and track effectiveness through KPIs and workboard management.
• Ensure clear communication within team and across departments, sharing process changes, goals, and challenges. Report weekly on team performance, process improvements, and efficiency gains to VP of Ops.
• Process, record, and reconcile invoices, payments, and vendor accounts, ensuring accurate and timely disbursements.
• Manage customer payments, process incoming receipts, and reconcile accounts to maintain up-to-date records.
• Prepare and issue accurate customer/vendor invoices, resolve billing discrepancies, and address invoice-related inquiries promptly.
• Daily/Weekly/Monthly customer/vendor account reconciliations and monitoring.
• Maintain accurate financial records in accounting systems while ensuring data integrity and flow across all systems.

• Minimum 1 year of management experience.

• Adaptability/Flexibility: Embrace change and learn new systems or methods as the business evolves.
