Job Description :

Osmose is seeking an Accounting Manager in the Atlanta, GA area to manage our full-cycle general ledger accounting functions, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, performing balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. In addition to core accounting duties, the role supports system implementations, upgrades, and automation initiatives, while providing cross-functional assistance across departments. The position also ensures compliance with accounting standards and internal policies while actively supporting internal and external audit processes through accurate documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities:

1. Full-cycle General Ledger Responsibilities:

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
  • Prepare and review journal entries including intercompany (international) journal entries
  • Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts and investigate/clear variances
  • Prepare monthly accruals
  • Identify and set-up prepaid amortization schedules

2. Ancillary Responsibilities:

  • Participate in system implementations, upgrades, and process automation initiatives
  • Provide cross-functional support across departments as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

3. Compliance and Audit:

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation for audit purposes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • Intercompany transactions
  • Strong knowledge generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Experience with intercompany activities
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
  • Ability to deep-dive and solve problems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • CPA or CA (preferred)
