Job Summary: Seven Oaks Search is partnering with a leading healthcare organization to identify an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and support strategic decision-making. This role is critical in managing accounting functions, financial reporting, and process improvements while leading a team within a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities:1. Financial Reporting & Analysis:
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with healthcare financial regulations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management and key stakeholders.
  • Analyze financial data and trends to support operational and strategic decisions.
  • Develop and maintain financial reporting systems and processes.
2. Accounting Operations:
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions within a healthcare setting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of accounts and financial records.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Maintain financial integrity and compliance with industry standards.
3. Budgeting & Forecasting:
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor budget performance and analyze variances.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support financial planning and cost containment in a healthcare environment.
4. Compliance & Internal Controls:
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, healthcare financial regulations, and internal policies.
  • Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
  • Assist with external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
5. Process Improvement & Systems Management:
  • Implement and optimize accounting systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements tailored to the healthcare sector.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes affecting financial operations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry or a highly regulated environment preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, healthcare financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
  • Full-time position with standard office hours.
