Osmose is currently seeking an Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager is responsible for ensuring the completion of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting processes and meeting the requirements in accordance with GAAP. This role also includes preparing journal entries, reconciling reports, preparing financial data, reviewing balance sheet account reconciliations, and assisting with the monthly close process.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the month end close.
  • Review / perform balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations and analyses.
  • Record / approve adjusting and recurring journal entries as needed.
  • Review / approve monthly prepaids schedules and required amortization expense.
  • Record / approve monthly accruals.
  • Support auditors on annual and interim basis.
  • Assist in the formulation of internal controls.
  • Support the implementation new systems and tools as necessary for accounting.
  • Provide tax department with various schedules.
  • Assist in verifying data for annual 1099s.
  • Support inventory functions as needed.
  • Prepare intercompany elimination for intercompany sales.
  • Prepare consolidation entries for multiple legal entities.
  • Working knowledge of foreign currency revaluations.
  • Assist in preparation of GAAP financial statements and related footnotes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • 7 or more years of applicable experience (public or private accounting).
  • CPA required.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting/financial processes and systems.
  • Solid knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles).
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office software to include: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Leadership capabilities and demonstrated team orientation.
  • Experience in ERP systems such as NetSuite or Sage is a major plus.
