Accounting Manager - Edge Staffing Partners : Job Details

Our client is a large R&D organization seeking a Shared Services Accounting Manager to join their team. This opportunity will oversee various business units, support daily activities, reporting into the Controller.

CPA is highly desirable.

This is a permanent, direct hire opportunity based onsite in Huntsville, AL. This role offers a robust compensation package + benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain internal modeling and system maintenance administration for quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting with all business units
• Analyze company inventories via preparation of monthly journals and report on findings
• Lead month-end close duties to ensure financial statement integrity including account reconciliations
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to ensure alignment between all ERP sub ledgers.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis to support strategic direction and business objectives
• Serve as backup for other GL functions
• Provide year-end audit support for all operations
