Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounting Manager. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead financial operations and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. The ideal candidate will work closely with multiple departments to oversee and streamline accounting processes. This role is essential in maintaining the financial health of the organization, particularly in the healthcare sector, and managing grant allocations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Handling month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial statements.
• Conducting detailed reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
• Preparing and overseeing financial reports to provide insights into financial status.
• Recording journal entries to support financial accuracy and integrity.
• Managing healthcare-related financial activities to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Overseeing grants to ensure proper allocation and financial reporting.
• Ensuring all accounting practices adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Proven experience in accounting management, particularly in the healthcare industry, is preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with grant management is a plus.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, 1st shift.

Additional Details

The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $110,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
