We are seeking a results-driven Accounting Manager to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Gwinnett County, GA. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting business growth through financial insights. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in manufacturing accounting, team leadership, and GAAP compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Job Costing, and General Ledger.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reconciliations in accordance with GAAP.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory and tax requirements, including payroll and benefits allocations.
• Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and support audit readiness.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and reporting to support operational needs and strategic growth.
• Lead preparation for external audits, banking reviews, and asset-based lending documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to communicate financial performance and align business objectives.
• Support financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, and forecasting initiatives.
• Spearhead cost reduction and process improvement initiatives to drive financial efficiency.
• Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, vendors, and customers, negotiating favorable terms when necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
• 4+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Proven experience managing full-cycle accounting processes and financial reporting.
• Experience with regulatory compliance, audits, and tax filings.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills & Systems Experience

• Proficiency in MS Dynamics, Sage, or ERP software knowlwdge.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with job costing and manufacturing accounting systems.
