Our client is a mission-driven company reinventing how energy is delivered around the world. As they scale and innovate, they are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounting Manager – Consolidations to join their New York headquarters. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-moving, entrepreneurial team at the forefront of the global energy transition.

What You'll Do:

As an Accounting Manager – Consolidations, you'll play a key role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of their consolidated financials. You will:

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities in alignment with US GAAP.
• Analyze and resolve intercompany elimination discrepancies and ensure data integrity across systems.
• Administer and improve intercompany processes across divisions for consistency and efficiency.
• Partner with Legal and Tax teams to manage changes in corporate structure that impact consolidation.
• Liaise with international teams for chart of accounts mapping and reconciliation.
• Maintain compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) for consolidations and reporting processes.
• Support Oracle platform and integrated systems, including Smart View and ERP functionality.
• Identify and drive process improvements to streamline financial operations.

What You Bring:

• CPA (or international equivalent) with 5–10 years of progressive experience in accounting and consolidations.
• Strong public-private accounting experience, ideally with a background in public company consolidations.
• Preferred experience in investment banking, telecom, or energy industries.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting for complex, global structures.
• Demonstrated success in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
• Proficient with Oracle FCCS, Smart View, and ERP systems.
• Outstanding communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• A drive for continuous improvement and process optimization.
