Accounting Manager – Boston, MAA leading asset manager is seeking candidates for an Accounting Manager position in Boston, MA. This role reports to the Head of Finance & Accounting and offers broad exposure to a wide range of financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting/audit experience and open to work 3 days per week in-office.

Accounting Manager – Boston, MAA leading asset manager is seeking candidates for an Accounting Manager position in Boston, MA. This role reports to the Head of Finance & Accounting and offers broad exposure to a wide range of financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting/audit experience and open to work 3 days per week in-office.This is a full-time permanent position that offers up to $140K base plus bonus.Key Responsibilities:

• Review accounts payable reports and other recurring financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness during the close process
• Calculate and confirm management fee calculations in alignment with client agreements
• Perform monthly fund accounting reconciliations and resolve variances between custodian and administrator records
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and optimize accounting and reporting processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
• 4+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, preferably within asset management or financial services
• Strong Excel skills; experience with SQL, Tableau, or Power BI a plus
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and thoroughness in financial reporting and documentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
