LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accounting Specialist that will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day transactional accounting functions, including accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and payroll. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team. The Accounting Specialist will report directly to the Controller. Responsibilities:
- Process and post customer invoices and payments.
- Monitor customer accounts for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
- Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and expense reports.
- Prepare and execute payment runs, ensuring timely payment of invoices.
- Assist in processing payroll, including timekeeping, deductions, and payroll taxes.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1-3 years of accounting experience
- Manufacturing industry experience a plus
- Strong Excel skills
