DescriptionOur growing Bergen County personal injury law firm in Hackensack, NJ is seeking a full-time Accounting Clerk to join the team.Comprehensive benefits package is available, which includes free employee medical coverage.ResponsibilitiesIncluding but not limited to the following: Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable responsibilities Data entry of vendor bills; weekly check preparation assuring invoice accuracy General ledger coding and posting of journal entries Monthly bank account and credit card reconciliations Daily bank deposits and posting of payments to proper clients and invoices Assist in monthly financial reports Handling confidential and sensitive information professionally and with discretionQualifications 2-year college accounting degree Minimum 3-5 years experience in the accounting field Law firm experience a plus Excellent organization skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Accuracy and attention to detail are a must Analytical and problem-solving skills
