We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Associate to join our team in Cedar Rapids, IA. The ideal candidate will support daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records. This role is crucial for ensuring the integrity of our financial reporting and assisting with various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions accurately and promptly.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and provide financial support.
• Perform general administrative and accounting duties as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associates degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience (internships or entry-level roles accepted).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Epicor Prophet 21, QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in manufacturing industry is a plus.
