LHH is working with a fast-growing company located in Secaucus, NJ, dedicated to delivering excellence in logistics. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Assistant to support our clients finance department and help maintain the accuracy of their financial records.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
• Prepare and maintain financial reports and spreadsheets
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
• Enter and maintain accurate financial records in accounting software
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Respond to vendor inquiries and assist with resolving discrepancies
• Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
• Perform other administrative and accounting duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelors preferred)
• 12 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
