Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Processing bi-weekly payroll cycles for multiple states and business units, including wage calculations, tax withholdings, and direct deposits.
- Collaborating with HR team on timekeeping and benefits issues that relate to payroll.
- Maintaining compliance with all applicable tax laws and labor regulations, including timely filing of payroll taxes and year end reporting though payroll system.
- Coordinating with finance team for payroll funding and reporting.
- Supporting audits by preparing AR & payroll records and documentation.
- Ensuring confidentiality and security of payroll and employee data.
- Performing all aspects of the collection process.
- Reviewing daily billings.
- Cash application, interface with banking relationships (deposits & EDI 820's).
- Performing monthly journal entries (A/R related).
- Performing account analysis.
- Credit management assistance.
- Monthly statement generation.
- Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience Associate Degree; two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to write reports & business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, employees of the organization, and the general public. Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate and percent. Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram from. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
