What is this role about

As our Accounting Assistant, you'll be the right hand of our Financial Controller, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. This is a role where attention to detail, proactive thinking, and a willingness to learn are valued every day. This isn't just data entry this is about being a critical part of a team that ensures everything adds up, both literally and figuratively.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable: invoice processing, payment lists, and reconciliation.
• Handle employee expenses and advances, making sure all financial documents are in order.
• Support financial operations: from updating ledgers to assisting with milestone billing plans and supplier agreements.
• Prepare and review invoices, expense reports, and bank deposits.
• Help reconcile Visa card usage and report financial transactions to HQ.
• Provide general administrative support, including communication with suppliers and handling settlements.
• Keep our financial systems organized using accounting software and Excel spreadsheets.

What are we're looking for

We're looking for someone with a passion for getting things right. You thrive in fast-paced environments, know how to juggle multiple tasks, and have a sharp eye for detail.

Our ideal teammate:

• Has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Has 12 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
• Is organized, methodical, and communicative.
• Has strong skills in Microsoft Excel and ideally experience with ERP Navision.
• Is fluent in English and Spanish is a strong plus.
• Loves learning new tools, solving problems, and keeping things tidy.

Pay and Benefits

• $21/h to $26/h plus 12% bonus potential
