Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Accounting Administrator to support acquisition-related and financial activities for Government organizations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in business or technical disciplines and an understanding of Government acquisition processes. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, project managers, and financial systems to ensure accurate and timely execution of acquisition and accounting responsibilities. Responsibilities:
- Support acquisition planning, documentation, and execution with an emphasis on financial and administrative accuracy.
- Assist in preparing acquisition packages, statements of work (SOW), independent government cost estimates (IGCE), and related documentation.
- Guide project teams and stakeholders through financial and acquisition procedures in compliance with Government regulations.
- Coordinate with program managers, contracting officers, and technical personnel to track acquisition and funding activities.
- Monitor financial milestones, generate reports, and provide updates on budget status, risks, and necessary actions.
- Stay informed on Government acquisition and financial systems, policies, and best practices.
Required Skills - Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.
- A Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline, such as Business Administration, Business Management, Accounting, Systems Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting acquisition-related activities for Government organizations.
Desired Skills - At least two (2) years of experience supporting acquisition-related activities for the Sponsor.
- Experience guiding individuals through Government acquisition and financial processes.
- Direct experience supporting IT-related projects and/or financial operations.
- Familiarity with the Sponsor's business systems, including BASIS, CAPTURE Billing, CAPTURE Contracts, Workforce Management System (WMS), and SLA Workflow.
