Job Title: Accountant - CPA or Candidate PreferredJob Type: Full-Time (In-Office / Hybrid Opportunity)Location: Cranford, NJOverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant - CPA or CPA Candidate to join a collaborative and dynamic team in a well-established accounting firm. The role offers minimal travel, excellent hours, and a strong support system.Responsibilities

• Maintain and update clients' QuickBooks Online accounts on a monthly basis, ensuring accurate classification and reconciliation.
• Prepare both business and individual income tax returns, ensuring compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide consistent and exceptional service to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in tax preparation and general accounting.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online required.
• Experience with ProSeries software is a plus.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Office 365.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
