Accountant - Tenneco : Job Details

Perform all accounting functions necessary to exceed customer expectations. Work with all departments to assure the quality of products shipped from this facility meets customer requirements in the most cost-effective manner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze/reconcile account balances and participate in other closing activities Analyze and assist in preparation of Capital Appropriation Request Participate in annual budget development Monitor and prepare customer tooling packets to be sent to Sales Process accounts payable Maintain fixed assets Employee must perform his/her job within acceptable safety, environmental, quality, productivity and performance standards as outlined in plant policies, handbooks, and applicable work instructions.
