The Accountant 3 is responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks with moderate complexity and requiring a solid understanding of accounting principles. This role supports the preparation of financial statements, reconciliations, and reports, and ensures compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries related to inventory, cost of goods sold (COGS), and revenue recognition, account reconciliations, and financial reports
• Assist in month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes
• Analyze financial data related to production costs, sales performance, and supply chain expenses
• Analyze financial data and trends to support decision-making
• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy and completeness
• Support audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and healthcare industry-specific financial regulations
• Cash management, reconciling bank accounts, foreign currency transactions
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting issues
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Netsuite) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• CPA or progress toward certification is a plus

Preferred Skil

• Experience in a corporate or public accounting environment
• Familiarity with ERP systems and financial databases
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
