This role supports the preparation of financial statements, reconciliations, and reports, and ensures compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and post journal entries related to inventory, cost of goods sold (COGS), and revenue recognition, account reconciliations, and financial reports.
  • Assist in month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Analyze financial data related to production costs, sales performance, and supply chain expenses.
  • Analyze financial data and trends to support decision-making.
  • Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Support audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and healthcare industry-specific financial regulations.
  • Cash management, reconciling bank accounts, foreign currency transactions.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting issues.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Netsuite) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • CPA or progress toward certification is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and financial databases.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
