Job Description :

Stateside Electronics (SSE) is seeking a full-time accountant or bookkeeper with full cycle accounting experience to join our team to perform full-charge bookkeeping functions for one of SSE's subsidiary electronics companies.

In This Role You Will:

  • Perform bookkeeping duties including accounts payable (~10/month over 4-6 vendors), accounts receivable (submitting 20-30 invoices/month), bank reconciliation for one checking account, and filing taxes (quarterly B&O and sales tax).
  • Coordinate annual income tax filing with CPA firms.
  • Provide accounting leadership, explaining complex or technical accounting questions.
  • Support and develop organizational financial strategies with executive decision-makers to minimize risk and identify growth opportunities, generating actionable insights from financial data.
  • Identify ways to improve accounting efficiency, including cost control and profit maintenance or growth guidance based on experience.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders and external vendors, assisting in financial documentation for support such as credit lines during growth phases.
  • Establish Financial KPIs to measure the company's financial health and effectiveness.
  • You're A Great Fit If You Have:

    • Strong technical accounting skills with a solid understanding of GAAP. Experience in product manufacturing, wholesaling, or professional services is preferred. Industry experience in pro video, security, or IT is a plus.
    • Hands-on experience with multiple accounting systems, including cost and financial accounting.
    • Experience in roles involving A/P, A/R, payroll, and reconciliation, with excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
    • A passion for optimizing accounting processes and a commitment to professional development.
    • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of all financial reports.
    • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills, with ownership of projects and a sense of urgency.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and operational experience with remote communication tools (Zoom, Google Meet, MS Teams). Experience with QuickBooks Online and managing company credit card expense programs like Melio or Bill.com.
    • Ability to adapt in a lean, growing environment and to shift priorities effectively.

    Advised Education:

    Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field, with at least 5 years of accounting experience.

    Initial Compensation and Benefits:

    • Compensation based on experience and knowledge.

    This is a hybrid position requiring at least 1 day per week in our Lynnwood office.
