We're looking for a motivated Account Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow into a leadership role within the next few years. The Opportunity: As a Remote Account Manager, you'll manage and grow relationships with mid-market clients, selling IT staffing solutions across a variety of skill sets - from application development and cloud infrastructure to data analytics and cybersecurity. You'll have the freedom to drive your own book while being backed by a strong delivery engine. This is a client-facing sales role with a clear track to a leadership position for the right person. What You'll Do:
- Own and grow a portfolio of mid-market accounts (existing + new logo)
- Develop strong client relationships with hiring managers and decision-makers
- Sell contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire IT staffing solutions
- Partner closely with recruiting and delivery to fulfill client needs
- Manage sales activity via CRM and maintain accurate forecasting
- Hit monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Mentor junior teammates over time as you grow into a leadership role
What We're Looking For:
- 2-5+ years of experience in IT staffing sales (agency-side preferred)
- Proven success in a mid-market or enterprise sales environment
- Strong understanding of IT skill sets and the full sales cycle
- Self-starter who thrives remotely with minimal supervision
- High integrity, team mindset, and long-term vision
- Leadership ambition - you want to lead a team in the next 1-2 years
Bonus If You Have:
- Experience selling in the Chicago or Midwest market
