Your Responsibilities

Lockton is seeking an experienced, dynamic client services professional in the Employee Benefits space, who will bring a fierce commitment to building relationships, exceeding client expectations, and pushing our Employee Benefits Practice to new heights in the marketplace. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the servicing and marketing needs of Lockton clients. Services include managing a designated book of business related to marketing, claims, and administration.

  • Respond to client inquiries, maintain documentation of communications, issues, and resolutions.
  • Support implementation of new coverage lines by setting up accounts, collecting documentation, and reviewing plan details with clients and carriers.
  • Gather exposure information from clients, including loss-run schedules and stratifications.
  • Request and collect quotes (new and renewal) from carriers.
  • Audit quotes, binders, and endorsements; request changes as needed.
  • Process audits and prepare analysis for clients.
  • Receive policies, update, and verify completeness.
  • Update specifications, applications, and summaries during the policy year.
  • Monitor receipt of quotes from carriers and negotiate as needed.
  • Bind coverage under the direction of the Unit Manager or Account Executive.
  • Inform clients of any changes affecting premiums or coverage.
  • Gather information for new business opportunities.
  • Input client data into management systems accurately.
  • Prepare materials for client presentations and meetings.
  • Create and send compliance communications.
  • Issue and process client invoices.
  • Coordinate with producers and accounting to address billing issues.
  • Research industry trends and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-7 years of client service experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and regulations.
  • Ability to complete ongoing education requirements.
  • Availability to attend meetings and training.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and organize work efficiently.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Proficiency with office equipment and working on a computer for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal hours if necessary.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
