Your Role:

  • Sales Performance & Revenue Growth: Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, benefiting from a competitive commission plan and a strong sales funnel.
  • Pipeline & Deal Management: Build and manage an effective sales pipeline, advancing opportunities through all stages while maintaining a 4:1 funnel-to-quota ratio.
  • Cloud Ecosystem & Strategic Partnerships: Forge and foster relationships within AWS, Microsoft, and Google Cloud ecosystems to drive new business and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Multi-Channel Sales Execution: Propel cloud sales through Cox Business, indirect partners, internal business units, and industry events, optimizing go-to-market strategies.
  • Consultative & Value-Based Selling: Identify client needs and propose tailored cloud solutions, clearly articulating the business value of RapidScale's offerings.
  • CRM & Data-Driven Insights: Leverage Salesforce for tracking prospects and managing opportunities, providing actionable insights to enhance forecasting and strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Negotiation: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery while leading contract negotiations to secure favorable terms.
  • Industry & Competitive Awareness: Stay informed about market trends and emerging technologies to fine-tune sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience: A Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of Sales experience, OR a Master's degree with 4 years of experience, OR a Ph.D. with 1 year experience, OR 10 years of experience without a degree.
  • IT Sales Expertise: 4+ years selling IT solutions to decision-makers at various levels, demonstrating new business development and value-based selling expertise.
  • Cloud Knowledge: Hands-on cloud selling experience; relevant job-related certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) preferred, ideally with advanced certifications.
  • Channel & Direct Sales: Proven experience in both indirect and direct sales environments.
  • Work Travel: Willingness to travel 35-40% for customer engagements, presentations, and industry events.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Established network of senior decision-makers and influencers.
  • Experience leveraging AWS and/or GCP partner programs for business development.
  • History of success in selling cloud solutions, including IaaS, containerization, and security/compliance services.
  • Industry expertise in Healthcare, Financial Services, SaaS, or E-Commerce is highly desirable.

Compensation:

The base salary for this role ranges from $111,900.00 to $167,900.00 annually, based on various factors, plus an opportunity for an annual incentive/commission target of $85,000.00.
