Position Overview

The Access & Reimbursement Manager (ARM) will be a subject matter expert on access & reimbursement for FILSPARI (Sparsentan), working remotely within their assigned geography. The role involves providing education and case-specific support to internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers (HCPs) and sales teams, to navigate insurance and access barriers effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact for patient access and reimbursement in the assigned region, supporting providers and staff.
  • Develop expertise in the FILSPARI onboarding process, from Patient Start Form (PSF) submission to reimbursement.
  • Educate physicians and practices on onboarding procedures, prior authorization, appeals, and medical policy requirements.
  • Monitor cases through the onboarding process, ensuring timely progression.
  • Identify and resolve complex access issues by collaborating with the Hub, HCP offices, and field teams.
  • Assist with missing information, resolve access issues, and educate on reimbursement processes.
  • Partner with reimbursement stakeholders to facilitate case progression.
  • Communicate regularly with the sales force about case statuses and reimbursement updates.
  • Lead weekly update meetings with sales teams, providing clear next steps and ownership.
  • Monitor regional payer trends and educate internal teams and HCPs accordingly.
  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
    • 5+ years in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with 3+ years in reimbursement/access/case management.
    • Experience in specialty pharmaceuticals, nephrology, or rare diseases preferred.
    Skills & Attributes
    • Strong relationship-building skills with HCPs, payers, and internal teams.
    • Deep understanding of insurance reimbursement, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.
    • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.
    • Ability to work virtually, with flexibility to travel up to 35%.
    Additional Information

    Competitive compensation, benefits, and total rewards package, with a target base salary of $158,000 - $205,000. The role is full-time, based in Denver, CO, with remote flexibility.
