The Department of Pathology and Anatomical Sciences is looking for a general pathologist to join the clinical practice of UBMD Pathology. The ideal candidates should be comfortable in the diagnosis and management of a broad range of cases in surgical pathology.Candidates will be required to perform all the duties of an attending pathologist which include:

• General and subspecialty sign out
• Autopsy pathology
• Select areas of Laboratory Medicine Pathologists additionally attend and actively participate in:
  • Multidisciplinary tumor boards
  • Residency teaching and oversight
  • Medical and Dental undergraduate teaching

Minimum Qualifications

• MD, DO or equivalent
• Fellowship training
• AP/CP Board eligibility or certification

Preferred Qualifications

• AP/CP Board certified
• Fellowship training or boards in Gynecologic, Head and Neck, GI, Genitourinary, and/or Pediatric pathology
