The Academic Program Manager reports to the Dean of Academic Programs and Instruction. This person serves as an intermediary between Borough of Manhattan Community College and the Academy for Careers in Television and Film (ACTvF), located on 51st Ave. in Long Island City, Queens. Through this partnership, students are able to earn college credit toward their associate degree while also earning a high school diploma. It is highly recommended that this person have experience working with both high school students and adults (i.e. professors, teachers, parents and school leadership). The ability to develop strong working relationships needs to be combined with strong organizational skills around the various administrative responsibilities.

Manages curriculum development and operations of a College's specialized academic program under the direction of a senior administrator.
Implements and monitors a comprehensive academic program development plan; makes recommendations to improve department policies and procedures
Assists Director with outcome assessment and strategic planning to further develop program offerings
Prepares analytical and statistical reports for management
Serves as resource expert regarding program policies and procedures
May manage professional and/or clerical staff
May act on behalf of Director in his/her absence

Compensation and Benefits
Salary range is $87,978 - $95,879; Salary commensurate with education and experience.
CUNY is in the process of implementing salary schedule increases. Once implemented, salaries of eligible employees will be adjusted by 3.25% effective 9/1/2025 and 3.5% effective 9/1/26, in accordance with the terms of the PSC-CUNY collective bargaining agreement.
