The Department of International Affairs in the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track, instructional assistant professor position in international political economy, based at the Washington, D.C. teaching site. The appointment is for two years, with the possibility of renewal. The start date is September 1, 2025.
The successful candidate will teach five courses annually in professional master's degree programs, including two sections of a required course on the global economy and three electives, determined in consultation with the department head. Departmental and professional service responsibilities are also expected.
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in political science with specialization in international political economy. Expertise in geo-economics and regional knowledge of East Asia are preferred.
