This unique opportunity offersimmediate appointment as Clerkship Directorfor medical students rotating through Women's Health, with aclearly defined pathway to serve as Program Directorfor the Ob/Gyn residency program under development. The ASU School of Medicine, launching its first class in 2026, has been recognized nationally for its emphasis onengineering-based solutions, innovation, and rethinking medical education and health delivery at scale.

Position Highlights:

• Immediate Academic Leadership Role: Serve asClerkship Directorfor ASU medical students in Ob/Gyn
• Program Development: Play a key leadership role in the design, accreditation, and launch of anew Ob/Gyn residency program
• Rural Health Grant: Expand Ob/Gyn servicesvia a rural health grant to indigenous and other communities with limited access to women's healthcare services
• ASU Partnership: Engage with one of the nation's most innovative universities—#1 in Innovation (U.S. News& World Report)
• Hospital-Based Practice: Deliver clinical care atSonoran Crossing Medical Center, HonorHealth's newest facility, designed for optimal patient experience and provider well-being
• OB Hospitalist support: Dedicated team to minimize call burden and promote academic and teaching focus
• Collaborative Leadership: Join a system-wide, integrated Women's Services platform focused on quality, safety, and education

Academic Responsibilities:

• Serve asClerkship Directorfor ASU students; oversee curriculum, scheduling, and evaluation
• Lead recruitment and accreditation forfuture Ob/Gyn residency program
• Participate in ASU's innovativeAdvanced Medical Engineering Program
• Mentor students and residents; contribute to scholarship in medical education or clinical research
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary faculty across ASU's health innovation ecosystem

Ideal Candidate:

• Board Certified in Obstetrics& Gynecology
• Prior academic leadership or educational administration experience preferred
• Passionate about building educational infrastructure and advancing women's health
• Committed to patient-centered, team-based care
• Eligible for Arizona medical license
