Position Summary Provide comprehensive academic advising to current, prospective, and former students, supporting them from entry to completion. Serve as a key resource for students, faculty, and community partners by assisting students in achieving their academic and career goals and supporting the logistics and advancement of academic programs. This position will primarily advise students enrolled in the Nursing and Nursing Assistant programs. Duties & Responsibilities Advise students, individually or in groups, on academic planning, program requirements, course selection, scheduling, and career readiness. Develop and monitor academic plans and provide ongoing case management support. Support students with Credit for Prior Learning (CPL), course substitutions, and academic advancement options. Assist with new student orientation and deliver outreach programming for classes, academic divisions, and student organizations. Maintain accurate records of student contacts in the CRM system. Identify and proactively support at-risk students through early alerts, individualized outreach, and referrals. Advise students in wait-listed programs or prerequisite coursework to ensure program progression and eligibility. Collaborate with academic divisions and faculty to ensure consistency in advising and curriculum guidance. Organize and participate in college and career fairs, orientation events, and student engagement activities (including occasional evenings/weekends). Develop and implement outreach and marketing strategies in collaboration with Marketing and Communications to support recruitment for academic programs. Provide accurate, timely responses to inquiries from students and the public regarding academic programs. Facilitate Degree Map learning plans in the GPS for Student Success course and support Degree Map development to guide students in progressing toward credential completion. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field required. Minimum of two years of relevant work experience required. Must possess excellent problem resolution, organizational, interpersonal, communication, and project management skills. Compensation & Benefits Compensation is dependent on experience and education.
