Overview

Job Title: Information Assurance I

Location: Robins Air Force Base, Warner Robins, GA 31098

Security Clearance: Secret Security Clearance required.

IndraSoft, Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Information Assurance I with an active Secret Security Clearance to work on our project at Robins Air Force Base, GA. The selected candidate will be able to communicate effectively (written/verbal), possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be innovative in a fast-paced environment. Must hold and maintain a valid Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide Information System Security Engineering (ISSE) expertise throughout the system's lifecycle in accordance with the DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP), Certification and Accreditation (C&A) methodologies, and DoD Instruction 8570.1-M.
• Conduct security engineering of IA for DoD and Federal Information Systems, including developing security requirements, data gathering and documenting system security plans, risk assessments, contingency plans, security test and evaluation plans, and security concepts of operation.
• Develop, review and maintain security policies and standards on commonly deployed systems and generate or review DIACAP packages.
• Familiar with RPASOC, AF DCGS, or FPED systems; assist in monitoring ACAS and NESSUS scan utilities.
• Prepare Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages and ensure security requirements are addressed during all phases of the system life cycle.
• Provide guidance to Information Assurance I and assist in solving more difficult technical problems; lead development tasks as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of state-of-the-art development tools, techniques, and computing equipment; participate in educational opportunities and professional organizations.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates or Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience. If no degree, 5+ years of IA experience with 2 years ISR experience performing IA functions; or 5+ years IA experience for complex networked systems and software development environment.
• Security+ or other 8570 certification required.
• Experience with or knowledge of RPASOC, AF DCGS, or FPED systems.
• Knowledge of ICD 503 and NIST publications.
• Experience in continuous monitoring using ACAS and NESSUS scan utilities (preferred).
• Familiarity with audit reduction tools (preferred); Experience with EITDR, eMASS, and XACTA (preferred); Experience in preparing A&A packages (preferred).
• Must have experience ensuring system security requirements are addressed during all phases of the system life cycle.
• Ability to prepare reports and documents using computer skills; strong written and verbal English communication; ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with multiple tasks and demands.
• Superior problem-solving, analytical, and customer service skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
• Secret Clearance: Candidate MUST HAVE and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Qualifications Desired

• Masters Degree in Information Assurance or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience working on DoD programs is highly desired.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Utilize background and knowledge in RPASOC, AF DCGS and FPED systems; assist in monitoring ACAS and NESSUS scans; prepare A&A packages.
• Ensure all system security requirements are addressed during all phases of the system life cycle.
• Provide guidance to IA I and assist in resolving difficult technical problems; mentor junior staff as needed.
• Maintain job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools and techniques; participate in educational opportunities and professional organizations.
