A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Infrastructure and Automated Tools Engineer.

Position Details:

  • Type: Full Time (Contract)
  • Duration: 12 months
  • Location: El Segundo, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Product Security, Software, and IT engineers to execute the Infrastructure and Tools team scope of work.
  • Interface effectively with multiple technical disciplines in a team environment.
  • Help transform the existing Test IT Infrastructure and Tools in collaboration with the Infrastructure Manager.
  • Design networks and complex IT Infrastructure, including redundancy and disaster recovery systems.
  • Contribute to upgrades of existing infrastructure and lead adoption of virtualization and automation technologies.
  • Implement best practices for managing a network server room.
  • Develop engineering documentation and processes to reduce waste and improve repeatability.
  • Set up infrastructure tools and environments such as Servers, Virtual Machines, Storage, Network/Firewall.
  • Champion Lab Excellence initiatives to improve server room environment.
  • Work hands-on with various test equipment in a lab environment.
  • This role is 100% onsite at the specified location.
  • Must be able to obtain Tier 5 (T5) and Top Secret Security Clearance.
  • Assist in eliminating or reducing workplace hazards and implementing safety actions.

    • Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of related experience or equivalent education and experience.
    • Experience managing large server and IT systems, both physical and virtual.
    • Strong communication and coordination skills.
    • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.

    Pay Range and Benefits:

    • Pay Range: $52 - $62/hour (based on various factors)
