Job Overview
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in leading store operations, developing staff, and ensuring excellent customer experiences. They are responsible for primary duties when the Store Manager is unavailable, focusing on sales, team development, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Management (30%): Supervise daily associate goals, ensure brand standards, and analyze store trends to meet customer demands.People Management (30%): Recruit, train, develop, and motivate team members; address concerns; promote diversity and inclusion.Operations (30%): Execute company processes, manage inventory, scheduling, and ensure safety and loss prevention.Safety & Loss Prevention (10%): Maintain a safe environment, protect assets, and ensure compliance with policies.Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 or older
- Retail sales/customer service experience preferred
- Management experience preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Availability to meet business needs
- Cosmetology license desirable but not required
