The Monroe County School District (MCSD) is seeking a dynamic, highly qualified individual with strong communication and organizational skills to serve as a program assistant in our Federal Programs Office, located in the Administration Building in Key West, Florida.

The role involves performing routine to complex clerical and technical accounting grants management functions, including overseeing financial administration such as tracking expenditures, maintaining internal controls, assisting with audits, performing budget analysis, and ensuring compliance with grant procedures. Additionally, the position supports program activities like prioritizing projects, data collection, report preparation, providing technical assistance, and ensuring adherence to federal and state policies.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects, analyzing data, and following federal policies.

Educational Requirements: High school diploma required; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.

Licenses, Certifications, Registrations: Florida Drivers License.

Experience: Minimum of two years of related experience.

Work Schedule: 254 work days/year, 12 months/year, 8 hours/day.
