3rd Shift-Production/Assembly Associate - Staffing the Universe : Job Details

Staffing Inc. is partnered with a growing company in South Haven, MI who is looking to hire qualified Production/Assembly Associates who are ready to start ASAP. The company is a proud supplier of tarp systems for dump trucks, trailers, complete tarp systems, replacement parts, and heavy-duty tarps. The candidate will work in the small box department and will be responsible for producing quality products. Build and assemble various electrical components for production including switch kits, rockers, waterproof rockers, and dual contractors. They are trained to use tools and equipment to ensure products are created efficiently and correctly. In addition, they assist in other areas of operations as needed. Must be willing to train on a different shift. Production/Assembly Associate Benefits: • Trainable Position • Clean environment • Professional training • Overtime pays after daily 8 hours • Competitive wages • Bi-lingual staff on-site • Great health insurance, 401K, bonus when hired in Production/Assembly Associate Responsibilities: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: • Build and assemble various electrical components for production including switch kits, rockers, waterproof rockers, and dual contractors. • Assemble electrical components and switches for special orders. • Create custom orders such as electrical boxes, bent arms, and/or cross tubes. • Assist in other areas of operations as needed. • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. • Document actions by completing production and quality forms. • Conduct quality control checks; notifying the leads and supervisor of concerns. • Other related duties as assigned. Production/Assembly Associate Qualifications: • Basic computer skills and Microsoft. • Ability to read, write, perform simple arithmetic, and measure accurately. • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in production and documentation. • Ability to understand and maintain quality and safety standards. • Ability to route and distribute materials. • Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate channels. • Be able to stand for long periods of time • Bend and twist • Flexible to learn and move to different jobs • Great attendance and positive attitude Staffing Inc. - an entirely employee-owned company - is the largest independent employer in West Michigan.
