As a Material Kitter, you will unload finished products and determine their storage placement within our freezer. Furthermore, you will aid in the effective assembly and arrangement of materials essential for production in our cookie dough manufacturing facility. You will be pivotal in guaranteeing the accessibility of all required ingredients and supplies for the timely start-up of our production operations. What you'll accomplish:

  • Unload all finished products and determine their storage placement based on accessibility for production operations within our freezer. You will also load transfer trucks as needed.
  • Read and follow automated kitting worksheets for materials required for each production run.
  • Gather and organize necessary ingredients, packaging materials, and supplies according to the provided production specifications.
  • Flip materials onto plastic pallets, clean materials, and stage to distribute.
  • Properly report, remove, or correct damages before the transfer of material.
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to transport materials within the warehouse or transfer trucks.
Requirements What you'll need to succeed:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in food production or manufacturing preferred.
  • Upon hire, required to complete the following certification: PIT (forklift, power walkie, etc.)
  • Ability to work as a respectful team member within a collaborative team.
  • Ability to utilize email, Microsoft applications, and other internal software for daily communication between facilities, shifts, and departments.
Flexibility is essential in Rhino's ability to respond to short-term demands and ensure smooth operations during busy times. You may be involved in voluntary overtime or temporary assignments that result in extended shifts, weekend shifts, work completed on a different shift, or at another Rhino location based on business needs.
