Job Description: The Material Handler (Shipper) will have various duties within the distribution area. He/She will have job responsibilities of picking orders, unloading and loading trucks, organizing the shipping floor, taking daily inventories and keeping accurate counts. The material handler (shipper) will neatly and accurately fill out all necessary paperwork and turn it into the proper place. Responsible for area housekeeping and other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Essential Job Functions:

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED

Equipment Used: Personal Protective Equipment (JSA's) Powered hand jack Forklift Baskets/Dollies Housekeeping Equipment

Critical Demands of the Job:

• Standing and walking - Continuously
• Turning body side to side - Continuously
• Crouching - Occasionally
• Reach or lift 15lbs. to 30lbs. above shoulder level - Continuously
• Push/pull force - Continuously
• Lifting product weight of 10lbs. 30lbs. - Occasionally
• Assume awkward position - Rarely
• Forward bending - Frequently

Work Conditions:

• 8-12 Hour shift. Will receive 2 fifteen-minute breaks and one-half hour break. Overtime is required.
• Environment Noise levels will be minimal to moderate, and temperature will be controlled. Lighting is sufficient. There is a possibility of slippery footing.

Rate of Pay: $23.55-$26.45
