These positions entail direct employment with the client that offers exceptional work culture, benefits, PTO, and growth potential.Job Title: Material Handler Shift: 3rd, 11pm - 7:30amPay Rate: $19/hr. - $22/hr.Summary:The Material Handler plays a critical role in supporting the production of plastic injection molded products. This hands-on position involves coordinating and delivering raw materials, mixing resins with colorants, maintaining accurate inventory records through our ERP system, and ensuring the efficient flow of materials on and off the production floor. This is a physically active role that goes well beyond operating a forklift-requiring frequent use of electric pallet jacks, climbing around presses, and working closely with the production team.Key Responsibilities:Supply production machines and work cells with necessary raw and packaging materialsRetrieve and transport various resin materials to/from storage and productionMix thermoplastic resins with colorants based on formulas provided in Process BooksManually change materials used on machinery as neededPerform daily machine inspections and complete corresponding documentationAssist Molding Process Technicians with operation of Battenfeld injection molding presses (65-720 tons)Clean dryers, loaders, and material bins during mold changeoversExecute cleaning and calibration tasks with proper documentationMaintain FIFO (first in-first out) processes and material traceability in ERP (Epicor)Generate and maintain barcode labels on transport bins and transfer finished goods accordinglyAccurately record component lot changes and ensure documentation complianceTransport materials between warehouse and production using pallet jacks and forkliftsMaintain cleanliness and organization in warehouse and receiving areasRecycle packaging materials appropriatelyPerform data entry, resolve minor logistical issues, and assist with baling of cardboard or plasticAlways work in accordance with safety regulations and report any unsafe conditionsPerform other duties as assignedPhysical Demands:Frequent exposure to moving machinery, elevated workspaces, and airborne particlesContinuous use of hands for grasping; strong visual acuity and depth perception requiredFrequent lifting/carrying up to 40 lbsActive physical presence throughout the shift (not a sedentary or tow-motor-only role)Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required3-6 months of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial setting preferredAbility to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manualsStrong communication skills with ability to interact across departments and levelsCustomer service mindset, both internal and externalStrong problem-solving abilities and capacity to follow instructions (written, verbal, diagram)Ability to obtain a forklift license and safely operate motorized equipmentIf you feel you have the above qualifications, please apply for immediate consideration.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability status, protected veteran status or any other protected status under the law.EverStaff is an equal opportunity employer (M/F/D/V/SO/GI)
