Digitize carries a variety of industry leading 3D vendors to be able to provide a consultative experience to customers, as well as offering engineering services such as reverse engineering and 3D Inspection. These vendors include: Scantech 3D, Artec 3D, Faro, Geomagic, Polyworks, Quicksurface, and Aesub.Position OverviewThis position is primarily responsible for providing pre-sales and post-sales technical expertise regarding various 3D Scanning technology and products.These responsibilities include product demonstrations, customer trainings, technical tutorials, customer technical support, trade shows, and various customer 3D projects. This position is customer facing and require strong interpersonal skills as well as technical skills.ResponsibilitiesPre-Sales and Marketing Support:·Conduct product demonstrations and implementations for our hardware and software vendors: Artec 3D, Scantech 3D, Faro, Geomagic, Polyworks, and Quicksurface·Understand the sales process to provide more effective technical support·Proactively market new materials and upgrades to the various 3D product lines.Together with Marketing, develop a consistent pipeline of case studies and content.·Create and develop tutorial and training material for each 3D product line·Conduct webinars and seminar presentations, etc·Attend regional tradeshows to promote our various hardware and software vendorsTechnical Support·Provide rapid response technical support for a wide variety of customers in many disciplines and industries for all of our hardware and software products·Assist customers with software and hardware functionality for various 3D products via phone, email, web conferencing tools·Document, track, and follow up with customer issues to complete resolutionTraining:·Conduct web based and onsite training classes for various hardware and software products·Work with clients to create custom training classes and proper curriculumQualifications·4-year degree preferred, or related metrology experience·3+ years of prior experience 3D Scanning technology, 3D metrology, Geomagic, and/or Polyworks software products·Thorough understanding of the 3D Scanning industry·Previous experience with other 3D Scanning brands such as Creaform, Faro, Romer, Artec, etc is preferred·Proficient in Solidworks or other 3D CAD software·Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work with teams·Proficient problem solving and ability to diagnose and solve system/equipment issues·Ability to learn new skills, adapt to changing environments and show attention to detail·Strong planning, organizational and administrative skills·Up to 40% travel required· A valid driver's license with clean driving record and reliable transportation is required.Digitize Designs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
