This position, through the Operators 513 Union, typically works 4:00pm to 2am, Monday through Friday - with frequent Saturdays depending on peak season needs. Major Pit Loader Operator responsibilities include:Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as set forth by company policies and MSHAOperate large scale (17 CY bucket) front end loader that feeds crusher mill. Operate and monitor all equipment and production area safely and efficientlyPerform preventive maintenance and pre-shift inspections; repair and/or clean equipment as neededCommunicate with plant management team on all safety, maintenance, and production needsPerform other tasks as assigned by supervisorPit Loader Operator candidate requirements:Safety-FocusedDriven to provide excellent customer serviceStrong mechanical aptitude3 years of experience operating large scale front end loader or large scale heavy equipmentAbility to perform duties in all weather conditionsSelf-motivated with a solid work ethicThis is a great time to join our team.
