Manufacturing Associate

Sun-Wed 2nd shift 12:30pm-11pm

Wed-Sat 2nd shift 12:30pm-11pm

Job Details:

• Perform clinical product manufacturing for cell therapy according to cGMP standards, including assembling raw materials, following SOPs, aseptic techniques, completing batch records, and reporting deviations.
• Demonstrate and assist others with aseptic techniques.
• Participate in technology transfer and final process development from Development to Manufacturing; occasionally support development of SOPs and documentation in collaboration with Development and Quality groups.
• Ensure raw materials are identified and available for manufacturing; transfer raw materials inside cleanroom using sanitizing reagents.
• Support Operations to ensure proper resource coordination.
• Maintain cGMP compliance through consistent execution.

• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
• Work in a cleanroom and office setting.
• Remain stationary for 50% of processing activities; frequently move inside the cleanroom; occasionally move lab equipment/materials up to 50 pounds.
• Use compressed gases and LN2 in the process.

Varies with experience: $35-$42/hr

This is a temporary role with a third-party agency at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. The selected individual will be employed by the agency; benefits and terms are provided by the agency. Compensation depends on skills, experience, and other factors. Overtime pay is available per law.
