The JBS Pork team is seeking a 2nd Shift Alley Buyer. Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise hourly union workers Duties/ Responsibilities: Receive and evaluate hogs as they arrive at the plant. Count and sort off-quality hogs. Supervise hourly union workforce in completion of duties. Complete necessary paperwork. Comply with relevant laws, rules, and procedures, including Packers and Stockyards. Required Skills/ Abilities: Strong organizational skills Communication skills - written and verbal including phone etiquette Good work history including attendance Team player among all shifts. Education, Experience, Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Bilingual (plus but not required) Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation Experience in swine production, laws, regulations in human handling.
